The big guys selling you their program already have succeeded--get over it, then press on toward your own path. 9. Their ploy is to make success look easy for you--but remember: those heavy hitters AREN'T working from scratch, or even from a small startup (which most likely describes your situation)--after all, YOU are the one looking at their material, not vice versa. These people already have a MASSIVE contact base.  Your success is NOT based on choosing to buy into their program (see tip #2); YOUR success is based on YOUR own patient work to build YOUR own massive contact base (bonus secret: NOBODY builds somebody else's downline for them--see #8).  So, you can either give up now OR you can delete the word "quit" from your vocabulary and press on! 8. What you see is rarely what you get--reading the fine print helps.  But, like buying stocks, you should only invest as much time, money, and talent as you're willing to lose. 7. Whatever you do...remember that almost EVERYthing you read or hear is an attempt to sell you something.  The ad copy may sound chummy, or authoritative, even helpful--but the object of the game is for YOU to willingly part with some YOUR cash! 6. Ebooks, services, site-access is only worth what you can get for it (no matter HOW much you SAY what the value of the thing is).  I could go around saying that my house is worth half a million--and it may be valued at that--but if I want to sell it, and after searching the planet for a buyer all I get is an offer for a quarter million, my house is really worth half as much as I said.  So if someone is GIVING AWAY something valued at $97, what's it really worth? HOWEVER, just because the thing is FREE, it doesn't mean the product or service is USELESS, though--the key to a car is WORTH very little, but it IS very useful.... 5. Organized action beats the heck out of disorganized action.  Be HUGE, be DARING, but be DELIBERATE--if you don't know where you're going or aren't keeping track of how you're getting there, you will only arrive by accident (if at all)! 4. If you're selling something as an affiliate and you don't use it yourself, then you are either too busy/disorganized or you're being a me-too, online marketing wanna be. Stop it. 3. There are NO such things as marketing "Secrets" or some previously unknown thing that someone discovered or learned and is now ready to reveal all; they're just selling you marketing techniques that perhaps YOU may not yet know. Or they may be new and they may be useful techniques TO YOU, but they certainly ain't guarded secrets.  Remember tip #7. 2. There are bizopps out there that look great, but they're not; others look lousy, and they are; still others look great and they are; and there are even those that look lousy, but they're not.  And there aren't two souls on the planet that will agree about WHICH ARE WHICH!  Sometimes you just gotta hang it out there until you either see your success or admit that you got spanked.  But only after you read and heed #5. 1. You'll have MUCH more fun (or at least get some satisfac- tion) by focusing on becoming SUCCESSFUL instead of trying to get rich.  If you can tell the difference, you're half way there and probably enjoying it!
